Getting to game night is its own logistics exercise: an army in foam, rulebooks, dice, templates, a battle mat, maybe a painting kit for downtime. Regular backpacks handle none of this well, leaving models rattling and hardbacks bending. Purpose-built hobby backpacks solve the problem with dedicated compartments, foam tray slots or magnetized loading areas for miniatures, padded sleeves for books and tablets, and organizer pockets for the small stuff. Some are full tournament rigs that swallow 2000 points and a display board, while others are trim daypacks for a skirmish force and a snack. This guide compares capacity, protection quality, carrying comfort, build durability, and airline-friendliness so your gear arrives in the same state it left.
