What we liked
- + Bases, shades and highlights in one coat, the effect Contrast paints are known for
- + Water-based formula thins and cleans up with water
- + A single pot is the cheapest way to try Contrast before buying a set
Trade-offs
- - One colour only, so a full army scheme needs several more pots
- - Contrast paints need a smooth light undercoat or the finish turns patchy
